This is long over due!!! i have been following Dean and everyone on the DG site since 2010 and i have enjoyed reading everyone's adventures, so thank you all for sharing and putting it all out there.

My background is diverse in the REI world, started back in the 90's following Carlton Sheets and Robert Allen, both programs worked if you followed the steps, I did and made good money. I was full time in Law Enforcement until 2002, retired early after being injured and entered commercial real estate leasing and investment sales(mainly retail shopping centers, banks and drug stores). Industry crashed in 2009 for me and i was done for the time being. I became a GM for my friend's automotive retail, wholesale automotive and and trucking business. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire!!! I have come full circle back to where i have had the most fun, working for myself and investing in real estate. Sometimes i feel like a fish out of water though because of the many years of working in corporate real estate, it was a great experience but definitely closes down your creative side.
