Hello,
My name's Mike. I'm 49 and married with two sons- 21 and 15. Like most of you probably, I stumbled onto Dean's infomercial by accident, checked the Internet for "scam-alerts", and so far most of what I've read has been positive. I probably would've already ordered the books, except I recently became unemployed from my 'day job', which lasted 5 years, my credit's terrible and I'm way past being broke- borderline desperate would be more accurate.
I never finished college, so I've been working blue-collar jobs for the past 30 years. Same with my wife- she's currently working part-time for 3 different merchandising companies, and if it wasn't for that, my retirement money (which is gone now) and food stamps, we'd probably be starving right now. I'm a musician, but most of my equipment is in the pawn shops so I'm basically back to square one here.
So, between filling out applications and practicing the one guitar I kept, I've been surfing the web for different opportunities. And until I scrape up some change to buy these books, which I'm really interested in by the way- it sounds like something my wife and I could both do- I thought I'd go ahead and join the site, ask a few questions and meet some new people. I welcome any advice, words of encouragement and positive vibes from anyone, and hopefully can share some of my own.
