I also studied management in college. If you find yourself being cautious a lot before taking action, find a quiet place so that you can think, reflect, and write.
Write down the reasons for your questions of 'what if'. Afterwards, write down what you think will happen. Knowing these things will help you get past the mental block. I will skip forward to say that a few well written clauses in the chosen contract (Purchase Agreement, Contract Offer, etc) can safeguard you as you make offers and real estate investment transactions.
