I have owned property in Hawaii for over ten years. What would you do with the condo, rent it out long term or vacation rentals? Vacation rentals need to be fairly close to the beach. Check out rental rates before you buy!!! Plan to hold for at least five years if you buy it. Also check the property taxes as they are about double if you don't occupy the property and rent it out. Where do you own? I looked at using for a vacation rental , but its not on the ocean. I checked rates on VRBO not many rentals in that area. I'm concerned with the VOG over here, also the age of the condo. It was built in 1972. Thanks for your feed back. Aloha
