I live in Bisbee Arizona and this gives me access to Sierra Vista and Tucson to work on RE Investing opportunities. I can also see Benson, St David and Douglas as possibilities.

I'm researching a property that is currently zoned as R2M for mobile homes. The acreage for the property was once a mobile home park with 6 sites and 3 septic systems. The listing agent states that the mobile home license has expired and the buyer can pursue with planning and zoning.

I'm wondering what local government official I need to speak to in order to pursue a different zoning for the acreage.

Any thoughts?

Hi All,
Is anyone out there working in this area? I am so ready to go...but this is such a high price area even in todays market that I am having difficulty finding that first deal. All the stories about 60-80K houses, well, they dont exist here. (Except in areas you do NOT want to be) Also, not one REO realtor (out of 6) has even returned any of my calls and messages. I suspect they are all making deals for themselves and friends?! Would love to share ideas and/or maybe even work together. Best of luck to all!

I have a home I am trying to help a bank sell in Conyers,GA near Atlanta. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. It sits on one acre. Built in 1988 and just remodeled. It sold a couple of years ago for $167,000 before all of the updates. Very nice home. I can get this house for a significant price below value. Do we have anyone out there in this area investing right now?
