Be a Real Estate Millionaire

I was hoping that someone may be able to help out. I read Dean's deal on pg 244 of this book, and understand how he got the lien in New York on that property for $12,500 from the bank that had the lien at $145,000. What i'm not understanding is Dean says he was owed the full amount of the debt. If he purchased the lien for $12,500 did he get the deed and title to the house at that time? Also, isn't the $145,000 wiped off the books at the bank that sold him the note? Thanks for your response.

I have this book and his last couple also. But what I like to find is a pdf of barm. I got e-books with last two but I don't think I have seen that for barm(Be a real estate millionaire). I tried searching using barm and/or book pdf but all I get is An error has occurred. Any links, pointers etc appreciated. Think about it, the e-version can be searched, easier to carry and you can rearrange subject. Thanks from the St Louis area.

I spent the last hour talking to RIna and it occured to me that one of the reasons for my reverant irritation with people lately is not that I have grown and their questions irritate me...no thats not it.

I believe the answer is that the foundation is not completely there.

Please understand - I think every book Dean has written is AWESOME! but for me, and I stress, for me... the foundation to my REI success has been Be A Real Estate Millionaire.

BARM gave me the basis and the knowledge to try a multitude of different strategies. I think that if you read on of the other two books and don't read BARM then you dont have the complete picture.
