We are new to this all!!!

The best way that I recommend is to go to Deans Media, or the list of help subjects on the main page on this site and listen to every archieved conference call you can and continue to find help here on the forums.

The best way would be ofcourse to join the leaders accademy and have a mentor assigned to you. However if this is to soon for that then absorb all you can.

I even tape recorded some of the conference calls so I could listen to them going down the highway.

Any other suggestions can be made individually. Just PM us and we may be able to help.

Thank you all for your advice. I will be checking it all out. This is my second day one this website and I'm just barely starting to get familiar with it. I have really no knowledge about real-estate and so filling my brain with knowledge right now is essencial for me.

Yes I would really love to join the academy but coming up with the funds are the issue right now. I do know that it would give me the extra push and go out and get it right now attitude if I was enrolled. I have no knowledge on real-estate so i know that would help me a lot. Right now I'm just filling my brain with knowledge and trying to get as much clearity as possible. I don't want to be confused nor do i want to lack confidence. Hopefully soon I can join his academy and get on with my future. Thank u so much for the advice.

you are young and that is highly in your favor. be sure to read Dean's books and understand what he is saying. if you've never been into REI before, you need to know what Dean is talking about. start a journal on here because it will keep you accountable. i wasn't able to post in my journal for over 2 weeks and i hated that. the journal is for you, but it will also help others along the way. join an REI club if you can. you can do a lot of networking and even do some deals with your fellow members. there might even be someone in the club who would be willing to mentor you for a cut of the deals; just make sure they are trustworthy and know what they are doing. i have an investor friend from my club that is always helping me. every time i talk to him i learn something new. get to know the good people on this site; you might even end up partnering with someone on here. YOU CAN DO IT!

There is so much information to take in that you will need to read, and then read it again. Dean's books are the best way to start, then surf through this site-there are many good threads with great information...

Go to the top left hand of the main page where there's a box that says search/enter; type in a word, hit enter, and it will bring up lots of threads for that topic... this should keep you busy for about... a year maybe??!!
