Red Underlines in composing messages - Tech Tip

You may have noticed that while composing messages, comments and replies on dg.com that some words are underlined in red.
As most of you realize, this usually signifies that the word is incorrectly spelled. Not always, but usually.

But, did you know if you right-click on the underlined word, that the first few choices in the context menu that pops up are spelling replacements? Click on the one you were trying to spell correctly and it will be automatically replaced for you.

This only works for Windows users as far as I know.

For you Apple users, if you know how to do this, please chime in!

This has been a Public Service Announcement. Eye-wink

Mac Test for underlining in red

Mac users, if you spelled something wrong you can select (highlight) the underlined word while pushing the CONTROL button (Mac Right-click) and YES! a pop-up window appears and lists possible correctly spelled words.

Good tidbit. Thanks Mark K!
