Excited About Tax Lien Certificates & Deeds

Excited About Tax Lien Certificates & Deeds

After attending The Insiders Edge seminar this week, I became extremely ecited about purchasing tax lien certificates (TLCs) or Tax Deeds through a program that was offered there and that I will be starting next week. If you get an invitation in the mail from Dean's company to one of these seminars, you must attend.. I've been to a lot of real estate seminars, classes and training and read countless books on real estate, but systems offered at this seminar are unlike anything I've seen. There's nothing else like them that I know of, and I think I would. I mean, there are other wholesaling and profit sharing programs out there, but they're not as good or profitable, and there's nothing like the TLC program.

Anyway, I'll be getting started in February, and I can hardly wait. I'll start locally, but I want to this nationwide. Investing in tax lien certifates consistently and wisely, using the program that was offered, is the way I will fund all of my other business endeavors and my retirement. The TLC system offered at the seminar is that powerful.

Of course, being a realtor, I had been trained in college as to what tax liens and tax lien sales were and how they worked in Texas, but this system is better as it is nationwide, one doesn't have to attend the auction/sale and one actually beats others to the sale getting first pick of the liens and properties they're interested in. Smiling It's amazing!

Anyway, as I get more into purchasing these tax liens, I'll post more in this thread, but I wanted to get this thread started, today. Now, I'm going to reread the parts of Dean's book Be A Real Estate Millionaire (the white one), and then I'll be back.

Oh, I almost forgot, if you want some basic definitions of tax liens, tax lien certificates and the like, you might want to browse the Wikipedia.com, the online encylopedia. I found it helpful this week, too.

Live long and prosper,

Good Luck in your new direction

Tax liens can be a nice program to make some good money. Just be very selective in your choices as all tax liens are not created equal.

Of course I will be, Bill, and I can understand why some people wouldn't want to buy tax liens, at all, much less out of town or out of state ones. Of course, one can minimize the risk some without being able to do walk throughs, walk arounds and eyeballing the properties by eyeballing them from outerspace with tools like Google Earth. Also, sometimes, one can just Google the address and find photos of the property.

No, I'm not Vulcan...just a Trekie, and your proper response should have been, "Peace and long life." C'mon Bill...get with it.

I've enjoyed reading your posts in other sections. This is a great forum. Do you know what the points earned here are for?

Blessings,

Points

The points are just a way to compare the participation on the forum to allow members to know a newbie from a person that's been on here a while.

Of course, I'm hoping that if you get the most points in a week, Dean will send us a gift card to Red Lobster!!

Lastly, I was going to respond to you in Klingon but my universal translator is offline.

Rick and Bill

You two sound like a couple of Ferraingies to me.

Spell check just came with ???? on that one.

Hello from Louisiana

Hey, I also went to a seminar in New Orleans, and purchased the tax liens also. I haven't bought any so far, but I'm almost finished reading/learning all the discs and taking a look at some auctions. Tax liens are a much less riskier business. Good Luck and let me know when you get your first tax lien or deed!

Tax Liens

After reading Deans Think A little Different I have given it more thought in investing in tax liens as well because living in Texas you in on of the best states for this as the interest you can earn if one does pay you back is 25% plus they have to pay all the fees incurred to you when you purchased the tax lien as well. Where else are you going to get that much interest on you money, no back will even consider that kind of money. Hopefully I will see such an invitation as well as I know that is one I do not want to miss and just maybe Bill will be in this area too some time to pick his brain also.

Hi Rick, I am very excited

Hi Rick, I am very excited about the tax liens investing side; but know nothing. I can't seem to find a program out there even from Dean. Any suggestions? Also what is "great site, inc" I only get 'go daddy stuff' when i clik on it. And please clue me in to what the points are for? Thank you for your time. Sheila
