I'm actually taking monies from my IRA.. and making it liquid to provide me a regular income. I have been fortunate to have done pretty well with stocks and given a lot of my assets are qualified monies, I will do what I need to do.

I also just got an email from my agent about another deal that we thought I was a backup on that the original accepted offer fell through.. I will know tomorrow if I am not the accepted offer.. Hope I am.. it's a 4 bedroom.. rented with Section 8 renter at $1271 a month. With this property and the 4-plex closing I will have brought myself back to the income level I was making in 2009 when I was a commercial construction superintendent.. I had set this goal to happen by December of 2011 so I'm a little behind.. and yes.. quietly getting there. This will be incredible if they both close as we think they will!

I failed to say that I will also be obtaining a mortgage on the 4-plex.. I have pre-approval with 2 different lenders for it so I basically need to provide the 20% for down payment and whatever the closing costs will be.. This will be a HUGE step in the building of my REI business..
