Can anyone be the Power of Attorney?

Can anyone be the Power of Attorney?

I'm making calls, hunting for buyers and I'm trying to get through the gate keepers to exactly the person I need to be speaking with.

I understand the Power of Attorney agreement. But, I just got off the phone with a son of the owner and he said that he's the Power of Attorney and I asked him if he was an attorney and he kind of stumble on the words to make me believe that he's not.

In a Power of Attorney agreement wouldn't it be between the seller and a attorney? Or can the Power of Attorney be anyone other than an attorney?

So you don't have to

So you don't have to actually be an attorney?

NO- I can be YOUR POA

I have used Limited Power of Attorney with sellers that are out of state/town, which give me the authorization to sign their name in any matter concerning a specified certain property

So the son mentioned above has the power to sell the property to you or anything else
