Advertising correctly

Advertising correctly

When you place an ad for a house for sale on Craigslist, etc.; please make sure your map link works so people can find your property. You would get a second chance for people to do research if you make it hard to find out information.

As an example, I just tried to find a property on listed on DG.com with Google Maps, Bing Maps and Yahoo Maps. None of those programs could find the property.
There is too much other stuff I can look at to be bothered by spending too much time on a bad link.

I see this type of thing a lot on Craigslist whereby the map link doesn't go anywhere because the address is entered wrong. (misspelled street, city, etc or wrong zip)Just make sure you take the time to actually click on your links in an ad to make sure they go where they are suppose to go.

for real

advertising

Bill any suggestions on how to advertise my "old building." I still may find a way to keep it myself if I can find financial backing. Already started checking on govt funding, and had to send info to some of the historical places for advice.
But if you saw my posts under Rehab and construction and different kind of place, it tells a lot about this.
Yesterday my brother who travels a lot for his company, met with me and showed me how to run templates for marketing the building. Of course, I have to remember all that now, but I don't think I can advertise it as an historical building if it was cleaned out inside from damage. Will be talking to members of the historical sites in Wis on Sunday.
So any ideas that would be different. I also intend to call on some other businesses to see if they would be interested.
It is "slightly" possible, I may keep the building for now and lease it out.
Other properties similar to this one run around a million because of their size and age. But to be honest, I think those are all too much. I am getting mine for a fraction of those.
Any help?
Sandi
And it isn't a "ghost" property, although it is old who knows??
