OfflineEverytime I post one of Gregg Murphy's ads or any ad period with an image and a number it gets deleted and taken down. I also noticed that there are other post very similar to mine yet they are never flagged or deleted.
Does anyone here know the secret to posting ghost ads on craigslist without getting flagged every 5 mins?

I always post in the real estate services and real estate wanted sections. Sounds like you may have some competition that flags your posts. Change them up and move them around, wait a couple of days etc.

yeah I think thats what it may be because I noticed the same guys post the same crap that I'm posting and they never get flagged. As a matter of fact they post every hour or so. I figured there would be a way around this without getting banned for spamming but I guess not.
It really sucks that there are greedy bastards with no life flagging other users ads just to suck in all the buyers for themselves.
Here is my question how often should I post my ads should it be every 24 hours? How do you keep posting without craigslist completely blocking your account from the site? Thats mainly what I'm trying to avoid.
I need a buyers list asap for lease options because new years is around the corner.
ANY ad on Craig's List has become a joke in our area, all you get is scam replies. In the beginning of the year we were selling a estate house, had good response, even sold some of the large contents like washer, dryer, refrig, etc. & made an additional 2K. Now it just seems to be a waste of time.

I do advertise on CL for houses, even looking for houses and for the Racine house I had for sale.
Someone told me that they advertise their house and can only put it on one site. I have put my house on ad least 6 cities in the midwest with no problems, but why would his disappear, who has the right to take them down.
I do put mine as you do, under real estate wanted, for looking for houses, and put under real estate fsbo on CL with no problems.

The comment about getting "scam replies", I did when I left an email but have never had any problems with using my phone number or the 888#, because most people won't call for harass as you can track them down. So never had any problem with phone numbers.

Look familiar? My ad also had a link in the image which redirected the user to my website. So yes your competition can flag you. I'm trying to figure out a way to avoid this. I looked on youtube and google but everybody wants you to pay them money to find out how to post ghost ads without getting flagged.
That is scarey, I am not computer savvy, and have used CL for a couple years, and never had a problem.
But how does anyone flag you, and they can take your ad and have it deleted??
How do they do that...sorry, just not up on all that stuff. Is it possible to tell CL as a complaint. However, I have tried to ask a question about CL and never got replies.
I hope someone on here can tell you what to do. Being Christmas several aren't on, but if nothing else, re post this again tomorrow and keep the thread up for a while.

My husband is the one who does the C/L ads because he can put a better ad together than I can. From looking at your ad I'm not sure why C/L would flag you unless like you said it could be a competitor. If C/L is flagging you, you can re-arrange the wording (first 3 lines) if you are running the same ad more than every 3 days (I think it's 3 days) you have to change it up a bit.
Example:
Day 1) As you have it - You Can Own This Home, then photo and then You could stop renting this month! Then your contact info.
Day 2) You Could Stop Renting this Month! then under photo, your contact info and then You can be the owner of this House.
Day 3) Bank Turned You Down? I can Help. Photo. You can own this house this month, etc.
I think you get the idea. Good luck with this and hope it helps.
