I have been trying to market on Craigslist, however if you go to any city, you will see it is over-saturated with investors ready to help with Foreclosure. How are we to compete with that?! If I continue to put anymore ads on Craigslist, I will just add to the cloud of ads for real estate services.
Does anyone know where else or have another way to market to buy/sell properties?
I have done the 24hr 800 number, website, networking, business cards, etc, etc.
However, I am not getting any leads. HELP! I will not fail, I will succeed.

Another key is network, network and network. Carry business cards and flyers everywhere you go and keep on planting seeds that will sprout into leads! Networking and marketing will become second nature and th elads will begin to role in. Good luck with real estate investing. Believe and Achieve! - Joe

What better way to have access to a buyers list than to have a good quality real estate agent that has potential buyers that haven't bought a home because the prices were "too" high. This is where we ( the investor/subject matter expert) come into play. Our #1 job is to help people find a home or sell a home and then find a family to live in that particular home. The agent is a GREAT resource for buyers. If they're on your side get them excited and then they can contact the leads that went no one to offer them deals on housing that is deeply discounted "that won't last long at their current asking prices." Best of luck in establishing your buyer's list. The main reason craigslist.com is so popular is because it's easy to remember unlike kijiji.com ( I hope I spelled that correctly). Keep running test ads because they're FREE.

Determined,
I'd suggest you look at craigslist from the opposite view. Don't use it as a site to market to sellers as you try to compete with everyone else. Rather, contact all those investors and find out if you can add them to your buyers' list. Look around locally for properties and then take them to your online buyers, or post your property on craigslist.

Those other sites are good, but I still continue to find great deals on Craigslist. Keep on posting there and you will get responses. It is really a great site in my opinion.

Like my partner Jeremy said, We have had great luck with craigslist and continue to watch this site 2 or 3 times daily. this site is not overrated, you just have to be on it all the time. Good deals do not last long....Jan
