OfflineI've heard of this, but I've noticed that the list varies from a couple questions to a long list of questions. Is there an all purpose set of questions that when you pick up the phone for the first time to see if this property fits the bill-- these are the questions you ask!

You want to know as much about the property as you can before you make an appointment to see it. So the more questions you ask the better off you are. That's my take on it. How else are you going to know if it's a good deal or not? That's what they mean when they say do your due diligence. Find out as much about the property as you can, so there are NO surprises later. Lessen the risks! If you were buying a car wouldn't you check it out thoroughly? Ask questions? I would.

yes your right, but I guess I meant, is there a list out there of tried and true questions that I could ask since I have never done this that someone has already put together so would be alright.
