OfflineSo what's the deal with these "yellow letters?" Yesterday I came up on yellow letters of for the first time which people say work pretty darn good. I'm just curious to know if any of you in the dg family out there have tried this way of marketing? If so can you please breakdown your luck with this form of marketing and also do you feel that is better than bandit signs? But I kinda figured that queation is a "different strokes for different folks" type of deal... Thank you in advance.

They are hot, they will get your phone ringing. I send a yellow letter to every expired Listing on the MLS in my area, I receive a updated list every day, and I send letters out to them. They are easy to do, use a 4x6 muli colored invitation envelopes, you'll find them at wally-world 50 to a box for $5, next pick up yellow 8 /12 x 11 legal pads, And a Red pen. Next you hand write the letter with your red pen, My letters say-- Hi my name is John, my cousin Scott and I would like to buy you house @ (address of property) Please cal Me @ 555-555-5555 Thanks John, thats it simple and to the point, on the envelopes I use just there first name: Steve, 123 main st, anytown,oh 65663 again hand writen in red ink pen, I tuck the flap in the envelope dont seal it I want them to be able to open it easy, put my first name on the flap in red ink, put stamp on it, use for expire listings, absentee, vacant, FSBO properties, Call rate is very high, I send out 20, will get 6 calls some times more. Try it it works, I do this along with bandit signs, I'm buying properties, flipping and taking money to bank every month. its all about marketing, and taking action together equals success....John H.
