Hi everyone,
This is for people who are new to an REI group like me who are unsure of what questions they should be asking to get the most out of their meetings each month. I've been lucky enough to join a very successful group in Sacramento. Which is what makes it nerve racking, at least for me being the youngest one there at 21. I haven't been able to go to a meeting yet due to them canceling for Christmas. So, I've been thinking of questions to ask to get the most out of the experience. I know all newbie’s would like to have some Idea of key points to hit from more seasoned investors. Thanks for helping us rookies get started.

We just took over 2 REI clubs in our area.
1st, I would like to say, we are pleased having new Investors show up & we look forward to working with newbie's. I know it feels nerve racking, but you have to realize most Investors are looking for motivated newbies to help bring them leads. You will find it very easy to approach seasoned Investors because they have no clue what you might bring them or have no clue who you are.
2nd, Age has nothing to do with anything. It's funny when your young "I felt the same way" you just feel as if people look at you as young & inexperienced. so wrong! Go to the REI meetings with confidence & talk to as many Investors as you can & be honest that your a beginner. Grab as many business cards as you can, as this is how your building your buyers list. Ask if you can birddog for anyone & you might find an Investor to put you to work, which could lead to better things & also give you a learning experience, while your setting up your own business.
3rd, Get some business cards even if you don't have anything going.
Put your home phone number "if you have to" & your email for now, until you get things going.
Business cards are cheap & it doesn't have to even say much on the card.
Good Luck & don't let your mind fool you!

I had the same question, what to ask? Go watch blogs #54 and #55, Dean's and Jeff's conversation. It will help in how to approch Investors and what to ask. Most important, how much time to spend with them.

Thanks Jason and Mark,
This is what I needed to hear. I am definitely motivated and look forward to learning as much as possible. As well as having many investors together all under one roof. I’m just chipping away at my uncertainties one by one. Thanks for the help and I hope to keep in touch with my progress. Appreciate the tip Mark I think I may have seen those blogs but I’ve been taking in so much information lately I can definitely make sure by watching them again.
