The subject is "behavior". What are the core behaviors of a successful investor. What are the core drivers ? I am trying to go deep with this to solve a problem. Its like going 7 levels deep. I want to connect the mindset and the behavior.
I read something that made sense and would like to share it here.
"Let your actions control your thoughts and don't let the thoughts control the action."
I believe that successful behavior is when your thoughts are lined up with your goals and you TRIGGER your ACTIONS TO MATCH BOTH! !!.
Only my opinion but if my THOUGHTS were bringing me closer towards my goals then I would find a way .....no.matter what to TAKE ACTION ON THOSE THOUGHTS!! .........ONLY IF IT TAKES U CLOSER TO YOUR
GOALS!!!
As for the drivers?? I would say your WHY...for doing it!
Also your desire ...to be driven
your MOTIVATION TO BE DRIVEN
YOUR GOALS
YOUR PAST EXPERIENCES
YOUR FUTURE DREAMS
also your BEHAVIOR should be to follow the GOLDEN RULE and treat others with respect ...even more so when u become sucessful
OR .....TO HELP OTHERS!!!
DON'T GIVE UP ....focus on your first deal....be persistant......be determined. Build your confidence,have faith,...these are ALL....words. and actions of success and successful people....practice these while u keep learning and studying but most of all take action....as dean says....KNOWLEDGE+ACTION=RESULTS

If you have not done so already I recommend you read THINK and GROW RICH by Nepoleon Hill. He studied the thought patterns of the most successful people in America for over 20 years before he wrote this book. They ALL have the same things in common! It is a great read.

It is the first deal that I need to create to experience first hand the accomplishment and gain the confidence.
I will read Think and Grow Rich.
With no money to use for investment and wanting to do it with no money down means I need to do assignments for fast cash. Also I want to find FSBO to acquire buy and hold for cash flow.
I have been stuck somehow. To save myself it is time to move forward.

Being very in touch with what I feel and directing my thoughts to keep positive feelings to feed my brain and arrive at my goal. Love it. That may seem a little deep, however, I wrote something a few years back when I was working and a req was made for me to contribute something. It went like this.
"I personally believe we must take time to protect, cultivate, preserve and care for our thoughts in order to develop character and contribute good in the world we live in."
Now back to behaviors. I really need to structure my time and activities better. Action - - - action - - - action business plan and more action.
I am on the edge of my seat and so excited. I spent two days watching Dean live and did my best to absorb all that I could from the event. It was great ! The saturday prior I had a meeting with a new real estate agent from Keller Williams for 2 hours. It went well and he said he would send me the expired listing and properties sold for cash the last 90 days and so on. He was nervous though when I told him I would would be putting in a lot of offers and adding "and or assigns". The next day he called to say that he had discussed the situation and our meeting with others in his office and told me that banks would not accept the "and or assigns". For that reason he said he would not be able to help me. I told him I understood and cut him loose. I know there are lots of agents out there and I will find a good one - the right one sooner or later.
Well the next thing that happened was I vowed to jump in and place an ad on craigslist before the day ended this past saturday after spending 7 hours with Dean live from LaJolla. I placed two ads actually and nothing happened on sunday. When I looked at craigslist to chk my ad I found that about 400 new ads were put on after mine. So maybe putting the ad on the weekend is not the best idea. Today I got the first response to my ad. He is a new investor. I told him the prop was no longer available and that I get others. I got his info and we had a nice conversation. I quickly sent him a thank you e-mail and my info to firm up the business contact. He quickly responded in kind.
I placed another ad immediately saying "Do you need to sell"
I have been saying that for quite some time now that I need to make this work. It has to work for me. I am going to do this with no money and I mean I am broke. Bad credit due to my own doing and credit card companies that took advantage of me when the recession started. I am determined to be the best that I can be. I certainly have my obstacles and I will need to garner support from some caring business minded individuals. I need to learn how to run a business quick and at the same time I need to understand the nooks and crannies of a deal so that as I proceed thru the first deal I will be able to keep things in check.
I am focusing on wholesale assignments and I want to find a fsbo with seller financing so that I can have some cash flow.
