I have a situation that is good and not so good. I have a group of buyers that would like to buy properties in bulk either SFRs or Multi-family. I am direct to the buyer and have a contact that is direct to the bank (asset manager). My contact, however is a broker and they are paid from the bank to sell their bulk properties. My buyer wants to buy directly from the bank utilizing their Purchase Order Forms and by-pass the broker because they feel the broker fees are built into the purchase price.
Does anyone know how to get around this? Has anyone had any experience with direct contact to the asset manager?
I welcome any suggestions.

are always going to use a broker because it casts the widest net by getting it listed on a public venue (MLS). It is my opinion that you won't be able to get around your problem as you don't really add value to the process from the broker's point of view.(No offense meant) However, if you were in the position to actually have purchases in a serious amount (>$250,000) then perhaps the broker would discuss different terms/options.

Yes, I am finding that the banks do outsource their business, however my buyers are in the $5-8 million range. I'm trying to work it out.
