I am new to REI and I read Dean's book and I am excited to get started. I have been doing research and since I can't afford the classes I have to go by the book. I spoke to a REA and he has been sending me lists of homes for sale and so I worked out offers on some of the houses and decited to meet with him to see about making some offers, well needless to say (being new) I was embarresed because I could not respond to his questions. I had to walk out of his office after about a half hour of listening to him. He basically said he would not make any of my offers that low because no one would go for it especially the banks. I guess I need to do a little more research and be more prepared next time. I am going to meet with another REA tomorrow. Before I asked for all houses that had been on the market for 90 days or more, but now I have a list of the kind of house, the year, mortgage and a bit more this for the type of houses so I think I'll be more prepared this next time. I just have to keep trying.

Dean has given us a lot of infornation and a lot of tools to use in our REI career and one of these tools is the website, so I got the free website and modified it for me and it looks good but my problem is HOW DO I PUT IT ON GOOGLE OR YAHOO OR ANYWHERE ELSE, I don't know how to upload it to google so I am stuck. Can anyone help, how do I upload, please anyone?

Well I am finally getting more calls from real estate agents, but now I have a list of the kind of properties I am looking for, unlike before without a list I really felt dumb when I got calls and did'nt know what to say and stumbled on my words. that really got to me so now I made a list and for me having a list of what to say helps and the rest of the conversation went very well. So I guess you leard as you go.

As I read more comments from the DG family I think I am getting more courage to make some offers but I just need to have more buyers ready and I found a few on craigs list, I just need to talk to more to make sure they are on board. I really need to find out how to go about getting my hands on REO's and pre-foreclosures. I will keep reading all the comments fron everyone until I figure it out.
