I really enjoyed the information and I plan to go through them all one more time since I have a better understanding of what I am reading. I need a couple of more light bulbs to turn on. I need things to be semi-organized and I am putting together a temporary system that I should be able to build off from.
I believe that I am going to focus on assigning properties. I am not completely sure as to the technique for locating properties I plan to use yet. I am hoping to get some advice from the REI meeting that I am going to attend about how everyone else is locating theirs so I can use an unused or used very little technique. I will also use L/O to help build a residual income for myself when the right deal comes along.

Congrats on taking the 1st steps to changing your life.
Read the books 3-4 times or more and start taking written notes on certain things that interest you, assignments, wholesale, etc it will really help.
Of course look up things here on the site.

I broke one barrier. I went to an REI meeting and initiated conversations with several contacts. Now I will need to reconnect with them to get their situation and details.

Thanks for the advice. I got the new items from Dean over the weekend and plan to view them.
Update:
I made a couple of contacts at my REI meeting. One was an attorney and he stated that his money is all tied up in his properties right now and he is unable to purchase anymore. I simply asked him that if I was able to help him figure out a way to be able to purchase more properties, would he be interested in working with me. He quickly responded “yes”. He said he was flipping and now was forced to hold and wait. I told him I would contact him this week and we could discuss the situation and I would see if I could help him with a solution.
The next lead was a very nice gentleman that is investing in homes that are 3000+sq ft in the two main zip codes I plan to work. I did not get much information from him except a contact number and I also told him I would contact him this week. He seemed very interested in how I plan to find the properties. I said that I do a lot of research at the courthouse. I did not give any details to how I do it or what type of information I plan look for.
There were a couple of other contacts, but they seemed rushed and I was not able to make much conversation. I plan to follow up with them also this week.
I will post the outcome by the end of this week.
