Im new to this. Military Vet with no REI experience ever. Im a recovering open heart patient who has lacked self confidence for the past few years since my surgery. I saw the commercials and finally got the book and program. After reading the book, I was blown away at the information it contained.
Needless to say, I was excited and took action. I got my 800 number with my very own voice on message. I just ordered 100 bandit signs and will have them placed out immediately. This was a major step for me. Normally it would have taken me nearly a year to move on something this major because of my low self esteem issues. So as a result, I usually miss out on a lot of opportunities in life.
Because I read deans book, I took action. That is the difference I notice this time around and Im excited at the "Real" possibilities in front of me. However, I am still nervous to this day and it has been about two weeks since i got deans book. So forgive me for venting a little!
Atlanta is a big market with several counties to choose from. Im a little nervous and scared at the same time if that makes any sense. So Im just hoping for the best. My action plan will call for me doing assigns until I can get enough money to start buying and holding for long term cash flow and wealth building.
I would appreciate any advice or help from anyone with experience and is willing to share as I make my journey down this unchartered path in my life.

I am glad you are recovering from your heart surgery and also looks like you are going in the right direction by getting the 800 # for your office phone number and you ordered 100 bandits. We all were scared at first and once you do it and it will get easier on you each day and it will be nothing. I wish you the best of luck and proud of you taking your first step. sure Atlanta is a big metropolitan! Scope out the area of market you want to invest in and research it thoroughly. Learn which areas are moving, which areas are stall (hint:areas were other investors are buying in & DOM are good indicators). Build your builder's list; find other investors through CL (craigslist), REI clubs (on meetup.com & www.gareia.org) & other similar venues. If you do your research (due diligence) on a property; you'll know whether you have a deal or dud. Duds are basically money pits or properties no other investor wants for whatever reason!
I will lend any advise or help I can within my skill level of course. Plus the rest of DG fam is here to support you as well. Don't be afraid to ask we're all here for each other to help each other strive towards our individual goals.

Thanks for the support Paul. It really helps me to keep moving forward knowing that I have a very strong support team in place to help along the way. I am still waiting on my sign to arrive so I can put them out hopefully this weekend. My website should be finished by next week also. I will keep you posted.

I was pleased to see that someone else in ATL was taking advantage of this great system. I really appreciate your suggestions here. Thanks a bunch, I will begin focusing on them immediately. I realized that there are 3 major pieces to the system. Buyers, Sellers and Investors. Your comments were on point for the Market here in ATL. It is a lot of activity and it can become overwhelming if you let it. Thanks again for your feedback. I means a lot to me.
