Day 280
So.... I finally found where exactly to post a journal so everyone can see it!!
I had been keeping a daily blog of my progress (like a journal) since purchasing Deans "30-Days To RE Cash" book, and; unfortunately cannot transfer ALL of my posts to here... So, I will just kind of Catch everybody up...
HOWEVER, if you'd like you can read my progress up until now, & in detail under my blog "My 30-Days to Real Estate Cash" by going to my account and "tracking" me...
2 Years ago, I purchased the book, but only really faithfully finished it and started taking action about a year ago.. Around October I met a couple of other local wholesalers. One of them was able to put 2 houses under contract (for a little more than he should have). He eventually backed out and I basically took over the two, and the owner and I have been working on selling them since. We DID in fact sell one of them back in January.. This was my very first deal (you can read about it under my blog).
Other than this, I have not moved too fast as MANY of things have come up and interrupted!! But, I am STILL working on it and WILL NOT quit until I am as successful as many of you on this site have become!!

Hey Tony.... I'm actually from a city with a population of around 200,000... It's the 3rd biggest city in Colorado... AND it's about 20 miles away from a Major Army base being in Ft. Carson, CO.....
The reason I mentioned the Army Base is because A good friend of mine is a Sargent in the Army stationed in Washington... I recently sent him a ton of my business cards and he is going to post all over base for me to potential transfers to Ft. Carson....
As for the REIA's... I searched that meetup.com (which by the way is a pretty cool website) and only found (1) RE group... They are a group of investors, with (85) or so members, however only (10) really seem to be active...
I think I am going to use it to search other towns all over the State of CO and see if I can find some mailing information for the members...
Maybe that will bring me some MORE leads?? Thank You very much though for the website... Without it, I would've never thought of this other Idea of fishing... LOL

You bet ERic, I wish you all the best and it WILL pay off soon. I have been listening to Tony Robbins as well as Dean of course & man is it really inspiring me I totally recommend them man.

Ok, so just today I sent out another batch of letters. A total of 12 Letters...
What I am doing is I am finding FSBO's and investors (cash buyers) in town and sending them all letters.. One from my wife and mother as Wholesalers to FSBO's... One to FSBO's as a Realtor asking them to allow me to assist them... And One to Investors from me as a Realtor/Investor asking them if I could assist them in finding properties and representing them as a Realtor...
My wife and I drove for like 2 hours around a particular area of town looking for Vacant and FSBO's....
Did pretty good... I think we found somewhere around 30-40 of them... However, at least half of them i'm guessing are going to be Government owned...
We'll see... Stay Tuned!!

So, just had to post this quick entry in my journal Before going to bed... OR else I know I wouldn't be able to sleep good...
So, it's NOT too big of a deal YET.... but I did get (2) VERY GOOD leads today...
The first is an old friend of mine I have know since the 6th grade.. He got ahold of me through Facebook and sent a message asking if he can call me to ask some q's about selling his house.... He called and we talked this evening and I NOW HAVE AN APPOINTMENT with him at the house he wants to list tomorrow!!
The next is a Very good friend of my wife... She is looking to buy a condo style home under HOA rules, so she doesn't need to worry about taking care of any of the "exterior things"... LOL!!!
So anyway.... I KNOW A DEAL WILL BE HAPPENING SOON!!! It is sooooo close I can taste it and am getting a little excited!!!
It's like I told my wife earlier today... I'm using 5 or 6 different fishing poles all with different types of bait... ONE fish is bound to be biting SOON!!
