Dear Journal, I made it, I'm here, yea!!!! It took me awhile to get here and boy is it fun, exciting, scary! For the last 2 months I have been apart of our city's REIA and committed to going to 2 brainstorming luncheons a month and a monthly main meeting. I also worked part time and have the priviledge of taking care of my 90 year old mom. I'm kinda busy. But a door closed on my part time job today, not unexpected, because it's been closing for the last month and now I can move forward at lightening speed. First, I birddogged a house that was abandoned and had a pool 4-5 months ago. My wonderful son decided he wanted a house with a pool. Owner is deceased and one of the adult children has moved back in over the last 2 months. He has not paid a $4,127.00 delinquent tax bill on it. I asked the president of REIA to take a look at my pictures and advise me. He was so wonderful. He came back with a thorough analysis of what he saw in the pictures, ie pool may need to be filled in; must get inside the house to see what repairs are needed and how to further research property. I am so on my way! Thank you DG for continuing to be here and support our efforts.

Way to take action, Denise!! There are a few properties like that down here in Texas, where the pools were filled in.
Someone suggested making a miniature golf course for the kids on the mound of dirt. Also, with the drought and dry weather these past few years, a lot of in-ground pools have needed repairs. Keep on keeping on!
