OfflineDoes anybody know of any lenders that will refinance a loan with a higher LTV. In this economy a lot of house prices are either underwater or have minimal equity. I'm trying to assist a seller to refinance his current mortgage but unfortunately his LTV is very high. Do you know of any lenders that would do this, any suggestions?

get a broker on your team that can find you a lender who will do a refinance under the Home Affordable Refinance Program; it is for primary homes, not for investors; and the mortgage of the home has to be with either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.
The new program does not take into account the LTV ratio.
