Hey Everyone,
I'm just beginning to make a little money wholesaling and I'm looking toward the future...I'm taking a Personal Finance class right now at my college, but I wish there was some information out there like Dean's that was about finances, investments, treasury bonds, etc.etc.etc. I'm sure there are some really great books out there so I thought I'd ask you people if you know of any like this with the same enthusiasm of Deans Real Estate books.
Thanks for the Help.
Ryan

I love David Bach's style of writing for finance books. He wrote the book serious "finish rich". So, "Smart Women Finish Rich", or "Smart Couples Finish Rich", ect. ect. ect. Anyway, his writing style is entertaining and it is very informative. I busted through his book in a few days on a subject that can be rather mind numbing, but I learned a lot. He was also a guest for Dean's live webcast a few months ago. Anyway, check it out. -Susan
One of the best books I have found to start with is a little book "The Top 10 Distinctions between Millionaires and the Middle Class" by Keith Cameron Smith.
Even though this is a small book, it has much wisdom and truth and mindset for wealth. Hope it helps.

I know it sound arbitrary but most of the time it will only be one or two gems in every book that will stick in your head.
I've read books on commodities, stocks, commod & stock options, cds, notes, bonds, residential & commercial real estate, different types of insurances, day trading, hedging, currencies, business entities, taxes, etc etc. Anything you read will add something to your arsenal.
I can tell you what to invest in for whatever time period you want to be in with whatever risk you want to take.
Read anything that sounds/looks interesting to you. You will start to find out what areas your interests lie in. As that happens you'll be able to fine-tune the types of books you're reading that will provide you with the information you crave.
Then as you hit different situations in life you'll know what strategy to use for that particular circumstance.
Finance is not a one size fits all arena. You have to decide how much time & energy you want to put in versus how much you want to pay somebody to manage your money for you, usually at the risk of greatly reduced returns. After all, who cares more about your money than you do?
You will gain the most returns whenever you do your homework and lay out a plan of action and actually take that action.
I can make a two page list of books that were great for me, but if they don't hold your interest, what good is it for you?
You can always google "top 10 finance books" or anything of that nature to get ideas. I believe amazon.com has best-seller lists for different genres.
If you want to save some money, buy your books used. Most people read their books only once, some don't even finish them. Even old books have information that apply in today's world.
Hope that helped.
