Hi DG Family,
Just trying to get a little feedback on the success academy. I've been shopping around for a real estate mentor/coaching program these past couple of days, and found quite a few. Most of them were extremely expensive, although I'm sure some of them are probably worth it. I checked reviews on the ones that I looked up and apparently the success academy had terrible reviews. I'm not saying that they are true, I'm just hoping they're not since it was actually where I was hoping to get the coaching from. So if there is anybody out there with some good positive things to say about the academy I would love to hear about it. I'm in this to succeed and I'll take all the training that I can get.....well and could afford.
Thanks,
Mike

I appreciate the quick reply. Trying to find the right kind of coaching could become overwhelming, especially when there's hundreds out there. With the costs involved I just want to absolutely make sure that I pick the right training. The success academy has been in the back of my mind since day one.....Do I need it? Maybe not. Do I want it? Absolutely. As I'm sure other DG members do, I'm on all sorts of different websites with different real estate experts, and I get caught up with all the different training out there, and then I constantly ask myself...who's better? Which course should I buy? Who's honest? You just never know these days. But again, thank you for the feedback. I will hopefully make a decision soon on the coaching. But until then I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
right here on this site, you can find everything you need to succeed. You have access to any forms you may need; you have advice from many many knowledgeable investors who like to share their experiences and help you out.
There is so much valuable information on so many threads!
Attend REI meetings in your area and meet other investors. Go out and get some experience-it will be more valuable than any course you can buy.
wishing you success,
Valerie

Val, steve and veronica all have sound advice and I would like to add.........WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GET AN OPPORTUNITY to get Your money invested in education back in one year????? If you find it then the success academy has competition!! I am a success academy student who got into the program, done what was necessary include ing the ACTION ITEMS ........while working full time and got a 100% refund.
My real estate education through the academy is in my opinion unmatched....NOTE........IT IS ALL UP TO YOU TO PUT IN THE DESIRE,MOTIVATION, CONFIDENCE and persistence to make what you are taught happen! !!
good luck and I hope you choose wisely.

I totally agree with Jay, Valerie, Steve and Veronica. If you feel you need more education and coaching there is no better source that Dean's success academy. I am a "graduate" myself, got my 5 deals within 12 months and got a full refund. How nice is that! No matter what they say, none of the other Guru's can offer anything more, sometimes it is a lot less! There is NO magic pill. No one can teach you REI in one week or 3 days or whatever. Like Jay said it is up to you to put in the HARD work and TIME combined with common sense to make it work. The negative write ups you read are usually from people that have no entrepreneurial skills. Some people just don't have what it takes, they give up and then blame others. If this was easy and truly a get rich quick business, everyone would do it. You are looking a 5% or less that have what it takes. Is this you?
Good Luck!

This is NOT a get rich quick scheme and Dean's offer of 100% return after 5 deals is unheard of. Dean really wants people to succeed! I am so happy I joined the academy. Just make sure to do the action items and never give up; its NOT easy, this business is pretty cut throat and not for the light hearted.
There will be many times you try and try and things don't work out. You must persevere, push through, have drive, determination, and the will to make it happen because if you have the training and don't use it, it won't do any good.
I'm still awaiting my refund (submitted it over 6 weeks ago) but I actually did do 7 deals in the 1 year time frame and am very proud to have made that accomplishment. Looking forward to getting that $ back.
I don't think there are ANY mentor programs ANYWHERE ELSE that gives you the money back! (If there are, let us know, because I haven't found them). That is someone who is COUNTING on you using the knowledge to succeed. What a motivator!
Thanks again for all the help and positive stories involving the Success academy. I came to a decision that if I do decide to get involved with coaching, I'm going to go with Dean's Success academy. I am aware that real estate is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, and takes hard work and drive to succeed. That is one of the reasons I chose real estate....For the challenge. I know it can be a highly rewarding career, if you stick to the plan and remain focused and on track. This is what I've been working on these past few months and I'm pretty satisfied with my progress. Everyday is a new learning experience for me, and I'm loving it. Thanks once again for the helpful advice, and continue to make that money.
God Bless,
Mike
