NC Partners Wanted

Thank you to everyone that sent a pm to my post regarding NC Partners. I am still looking for partners in the Triad Area and in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I am also desperately searching for an Investors Club in the Triad Area NC to join. If you have any information that you can pass along, that would be greatly appreciated. I did my research online and am finding it difficult to find one that I can attend.

My wife, Michelle and I are down here in Charlotte. We joined the Success Academy last year but then didn't do squat because we also bought a travel franchise and concentrated more on that. We have always stayed up on the REI in the area and are now trying to get back at it. We have put in one offer on a foreclosure and should find out tomorrow or the next from what we heard. We are also going to be looking at a couple more foreclosures this week and may put offers on them also. We are looking to do quick flips on them, put a couple thousand into them and then sell. We are also keeping an eye on 19 properties in a neighborhood that should be going up for auction in the next month or so. Its a tax auction so there is a chance to get them real cheap, we'll see how it turns out. Have you chcked out meetup.com for a REI group near you?

Here's a question that has my mind boggled...how do you get an REO under contract with no money and bad credit? I keep coming across some GREAT foreclosure that I REALLY want to put offers in on but I keep letting this "proof of funding" thing get in the way. How do I get past this hurdle?

Any advice?

Cancel that last comment. I found a way to get a proof of funds letter. Thanks to a great realtor referral from a great friend and his wife that I found on DG.com, I'm now ready to roll in Charlotte, NC. As you've probably gathered by now, I'm still relatively new at this. But I now know have an understanding of the area and I'm looking for investor partners to help me close on some steals in great locations. Anyone interested in teaming up? I'm driving for dollars as we speak.
