I Have A Dream

I Have A Dream

Today our nation celebrates a great man who had a dream. He certainly faced adversity as did all those who dared fight for this dream. I respect what he did and in honor of Mr. Martin Luther King Jr. would like to ask, what is your dream? And are you willing to work for it...fight for it?

My dream/goal is to be financially free by the year 2015! It is a big dream. And I am worthy of it.

Reasonable

Hi Linda,

Thank you for your support and kido's service. I think that sounds like a very reasonable dream. I need to break mine down so that I have milestones along the way.

Have you given yourself a deadline to do this?

Time Time Time

There is never enough is there? But it is like paying yourself first. We need to do the same with our time. We need to make ourselves spend time for us. That used to be easy when it meant taking a bubble bath or locking ourselves away to read without being disturbed. But convincing ourselves that sitting at the computer and evaluating a property on our one day off is a little trickier. And yet here I sit doing just that. Delayed gratification. I work my rear off now to be able to sit on it in a lovely place and do those fun things later. Keep taking steps toward your dreams.

a dream is a dream

but one should try to accomplish it one piece at a time, and one day at a time as well but do not dream to big at the beginning. I once had a dream a long time ago and have been working on this ever since and have yet to make it but I have yet to give up either.

If I had to do certain things over again, I would definitely pay myself first. The reason is simple. You don't know the end result of the project so you shouldn't put off compensation for your time. And two, no one will really care about your luck after the event if it fails. Of course, if the project is a winner, then there is plenty of money to go around. But pay yourself for your use of time and mental capital.

BTW - I like your goal of financial freedom by 2015. Very attainable.
