Copyright Violations

When you post information on this or any other website, the information has to be original content; not something that you "cut and paste" from another source. If you do, it is a violation of the copyright laws.

It would be no difference than if you took Dean's book and put it in a new book cover and called it yours.

Information from other sources can be used, but they need to be quoted as such or used by permission or be referenced as a part of an original story.

I only mention this because there are more and more articles on this website that are not being referenced properly and with web crawling software, it is possible to get caught and penalized for this infraction. I am not trying to be the literary police. I just know that new investors don't have the pocket for this type of trouble so I thought I would try to give you a heads up to reality.

(I found out the hard way as one of the pictures on my website 2 years ago was a picture that had come from a public domain website but it was similar to an image that was owned by Getty Images. They sent to me a "cease and desist" letter and an invoice for $1004 to cover the illegal usage. Thankfully, I have the details of where my images come from (some are bought, some are mine, some are free) and could prove to them that my image was proper.....They agreed and sent me a letter saying that an agreement had been reached and they would not be pursueing any action against me. But it took 5 months)

Just information for you to consider.
