Today is the final day of 2010. I know we have all strived this year to be the best we can be, but for some reason, most of us have fallen short. It could have been an unforeseen family matter, an economy that never really got better, or it could have just been that you ran out of steam half way through the year. But the best thing about New Year’s Day is that you get to work on the future and stop dwelling on the past. Sure you can do that every day, but humanity likes these artificial time periods we call years. It is a time for reflection on the past and time for resolutions about the future. I for one, love living in the future, as I am a perpetual planner. I get a lot done with my planning, but something always comes up to get me slightly off my track. But this year will be different. This year, I am going to try harder (and smarter) than I ever have to make my dreams come true. How about you?

I'm with you on that, looking forward to a New Year and new plans for my life!
In the past few months I have met so many great people on these posts, and they have really inspired me to get going on real estate.
It is true that if we keep thinking about the past, we don't move forward.
I found the list of goals I had for this past year, and I came close to them. But I realized that I will have to try harder and move forward everyday to make a permanent change in my life.
So for all those who say they will change, it needs to be put into action. Things don't get done on good intentions!
Wishing everyone a really prosperous New Years! And let's all move forward in the next couple weeks!!

Jeremy and I are on that page also. A great deal of planning for 2011 started in 2010. This is the year that we have planned to get ourselves to the next level. We have had plenty of road blocks as of of late, but we have the drive and determination to make it happen. Here is to owning 2011. Much success to you in your new venture...Jan

We all have felt short of our goals at one time or another, or should I say not achieved them at the time frame we had set for ourselves. The good thing about setting goals are that we have to be confident that it would happen the second time around. Of course we have to be the instrument to making things happen, because they would not by themselves. As this new year approaches, we have to be vigilant, but also extremely careful as we pursue ours goals in real estate. Happy 2011 to the entire DG family, and Thanks Dean for allowing us this medium to not only interact and share ideas, but also to connect with like-minded people who are willing to share their experiences, knowledge and wisdom with us. As always, I thank God for giving us life and strength to go on and exist. God Bless.
