OfflineWell, the election is over and both side are putting on their best face in regards to the results. However, what should we do now that it is Nov. 3rd? The answer is quite simply to work smarter. From my vantage point, nothing has really changed. There's a whole lot of promises but nothing can be started until Jan. 2011 and I can't wait that long. So I'm working smarter today. Doing more networking. Writing more blogs. Helping people with RE questions. Partnering with other professionals giving seminars. Getting more involved with my community. Doing more ads for business. What am I not doing? Waiting for anybody from Washington DC or Columbus to do anything for me. They have simply lost their way and the journey back is just too far.

You can't count on these politicians that make empty promises just to get a pay raise, a little bit of power, and fame. I've never been one to like politics, but I guess you have to vote based on what they "promise".
I'll never find myself relying on politicians to make a better life for me. I'm in charge of that.
