Assignment Contract legalities in Southern California HELP PLEASE!!

Assignment Contract legalities in Southern California HELP PLEASE!!

Hello,

So I was presented with a lead that I would like to wholesale and do an assignment with. I'm doing a virtual wholesale (being that I'm not in the vicinity of this property) My question is, those of you who are in the San Diego area, know if an assignment of contract is legal in San Diego?

Also what about purchase and sales contracts? Are they legal as well?

I thought I'd post it to the dg family first before I ask elsewhere. Please advise!

Thank you.

YES!

Assigning is legal in CA and most states. There is a big thread on it here: Sticking out tongue http://www.deangraziosi.com/real-estate-forums/contracts/21624/how-do-i-...

Thanks! I will review

assignments are legal in California

I am from California I am also a newbie and was afraid that assignments were illegal but after getting a consultation from a RE Attorney in my town He said he deals with assignments all the time and has been for a long time you just have to have the contracts right in order to make sure you get paid this is also what he said.(the contracts on the site are the ones you need)
I believe that you will need an Attorney to close with the title company and most charge about 250.00 $ an hr.
but the consultation for me was only 15 mins cost me 62.00$ but was worth it.
contact an RE Attorney in your area ask if he or she has ever dealt with Assignments.
hope this helps.
