What was your turning point!

What was your turning point!

Belief and Desire.

I read this quote this morning by Brian Tracy.

"I found every successful person I've ever spoken to had a turning point. The turning point was when they made a clear, specific unequivocal decision that they were not going to live like this anymore: they were going to achieve success. Some people make that decision at 15 and some people make it at 50, most people never make it at all." BT

My turning point was 3 months ago when i realised i have had the struggle for a good life my whole life and i was fed up with struggling anymore , i was feeling down and miserable and decided enough was enough. I had been given an opportunity to make a difference for me and my family and i have taken that opportunity and put it to good use.
I always had goals, ambition, desire and self belief! What i had to do first was LOSE THE FEAR & TAKE ACTION, that was my biggest obstacle and was holding me back, as it is for most i believe. I had all the tools, i just had to jump in, mistakes and all.. Once i did, WOW! The whole investing world began to open up and now i'm well on my way, no more FEAR!!

What i'd like to know is what was your TURNING POINT!?

To All , SUCCESS!

My Turning Point

Well my turning point was to stop making excuses for not moving forward. I realized that many before me and currently are doing what I want to do. I now have to learn from those who have the skills and knowledge and make a decision as to if I will take action or laze around and do nothing. I have decided to move ahead; think outside the box; and make a name for myself.

My turning point

My turning point was when I discovered that I was drowning in a sea of stupid people. I always seemed to adding value to their life but I never seemed to reap any value from them. Too much negativity. Too much whining. Never thinking outside of the box. I just woke up one day and decided to make a change to create a different world for myself. And I have to add: DG.com was a big part of my shift in thinking even though I have been involved with RE since 1981.

I Have So Many Turning Points That I'm Often Dizzy From It ...

Martin ~

I really just signed onto this forum to see that HAPPY PICTURE again from your vacation !

But, I will say, that life seems to be a "series" of turning points ... and not just one.

Continually turning without vomiting, that's the trick.

Thanks Sherri

Hi Sherri,
I love that picture because it reminds me of a graet time in my life and i leave it as my profile pic everywhere because if i ever get down at some point which i do , then what ever site i am on that has this picture, it just picks me right back up again.

Right now i'd love to be sitting on the beach in your profile pic, lol, With an ice cold corona in hand!!

I agree with you, there are many turning points as i am working through my daily routines in the REI world, everydau something willcome up that will make me change in another direction, usually a direction for me to better my RE biz.
