I took action and got the book.

It was probably two weeks ago that I saw Dean's commercial on late night TV where he was driving in his car telling me about his book/system. It really caught my attention because he sounded very real. Most infomercials have people talking as though they are reading off a script, but Dean just sounded like he was just a guy trying to sell his book and even help people out in the process. He was very convincing and gained my trust. I felt as though if he were a fraud like most other "teach you to make money" people, then I would see right through him.

Anyways, I didn't have the money to get the book that night. But every day since then I had looked him up online and read as much as I could find. But I knew deep down that I would have to buy his book to get what I really wanted.

Anyways, I decided to bum $30 from a friend (I only make $600 a month right now doing website work) and loaded up in my car to go spend it at Barnes and Noble last night on PFRERN. I knew that I couldn't just let it pass me by.

So I drove over there to get it and the whole time I had an amazing feeling about the whole thing. I actually don't know if it was actually fear that I was wasting money that I couldn't afford to lose or if I knew I had stumbled upon something amazing.

Well, I started reading last night at about 9 and went to sleep at about 11. I woke up this morning at 7ish and I started reading and finished the book about an hour or two ago. I read the whole thing beginning to end, and this is hard for me to do because I have a.d.d pretty bad and I get distracted wayyy to easily. I turned off my phone and just read. (Haha, actually several times I caught myself getting distracted thinking about the ticking of the clock and so many more things, but I stayed on track.)

Anyways, as stated, I am through reading the book (for my first time) and I am ready to try to make it work for me and my family, who have never had anything nice. I am really excited but at the same time I am still a little skeptical that anyone would really sell their property for as cheap as they are expected to in order for me to turn a profit.

Nonetheless, I see a sign every day when I drive to the store and the sign reads "3 bed 2 bath. $64,000. Valued at $114,000" I am going to go tomorrow morning and get the phone number off the sign and give them a call. Maybe I will get to look at the house and take my friend, who is a real estate appraiser, to confirm that the house is worth $114k. This could possibly be my first deal, now that I have the knowledge!

The only problem I feel as though I am going to have is finding buyers. I read the book and know everything that Dean suggests, but I guess I'm just really a skeptic and don't believe that there are that many people looking to buy for cash. I guess I will find out! I can't afford much advertising so maybe I will just get a little bit of luck on my first one. If I could get this one tied down by contract for $64k and sell it for $75k, maybe to a fellow investor, I would be set to get really get started. =) I could then afford any advertising and such for my next deal and really make something of myself.

Anyways, hi. I'm Colton Colcleasure from Fort Worth, Texas.

And I have a couple questions and concerns. I would much rather have someone on hand that could help me (and not cost $7,000) with simple things that I need. Maybe in return I would share profit for my first couple of deals. =) I'd just rather talk to someone one on one than spam these forums trying to get an answer!

(Haha. 235 members online. Not a single post in over an hour.) =/

If anyone would like to help me out, please contact me and I will give you my email address. Thank you so much everybody!
