I might be wrong but if you're an SP, aren't you using your own SSN???
If you need to create an LLC, there are multiple ways to do so, but you should first get your tax id #. You can go online and do that through
irs.gov. takes no time at all
Its been awhile so please excuse me if my steps are off.
You can apply for your business license through your town/county office with the biz name, etc or just do it online through
legalzoom.com
My last few companies have been created through this method

I have EIN it's just like a tax id or ss#
just because you ask a question doesn't make you priority on other peoples time
Since you have that, then just change your business classification with whatever agency that is sponsoring your company

I created my business back in Aug. 2007 as a SP just wish I would have made it a LLC.
