OfflineHi everyone. I'm sure you all caught Dean's video message from last year that was just re-posted today. If not please go check it out.
It got me to take action and put this out that I am looking for someone to be my Success Buddy to learn from and hopefully at some point be of equal or greater benefit to. This is a great idea and although most successful people are extremely busy, I won't bug you(too much), just joking. Its easy to get overwhelmed and get confused as to what steps to take next when beginning real estate investing. I live in Northern New Jersey.
Just to let you know, it won't be you doing a bunch of talking to someone who doesn't listen and apply. I've already began taking serious action (have 3 buyers and have located over 20 properties that looked distressed) and I'm a Student of the Success Academy. A little guidance will go a long way and I will definitely mention your name on my Success video that will go on Dean's Website (positive thinking).
I do have just two requests in my criteria for a Success Buddy:
1. Must be a successful investor that has done 5 or more profitable deals in the last 18 months.
2. Must be a person of some spiritual Faith. (This is not to offend anyone, just my personal preference, but I LOVE EVERYONE!)
Everyone who is also interested in a Success Buddy, please feel free to use this Thread as a vessel to finding them. Accountability and encouragement from those that have done it are big in this business especially when starting out. I know everyone who is successful here has a desire to help. great scriptures! since i started my journal i feel like i have "success buddies" because they are willing to help. i've talked to successful students on the student calls too and that's been very helpful. i wish you great success! have you started a journal? great way for you to help yourself and others to help you too. i hope you find the best Success Buddy for you. there are a bunch of NJ DGer's. check out the forum on the countdown to the Edge.

Great stuff Linda, I have started a journal and you're absolutely right, with the wealth of info that the DG Family has, it is like having a bunch of Success Buddies, that's why whether or not anyone specifically wants to be my SB, I know it will not deter the end result of me being successful because there are a bunch of other resources. I will be sure to check out that thread right now and thanks.
