OfflineWell I closed on my 97th and 98th transaction yesterday. And I have a double closing on Monday that will be the 99th transaction. Deal number 100 should happen at the end of next week or the beginning of the week after.
This is such a huge mental thing for me. I did my very first real estate deal ever (I had never even bought a house to live in because I didn't think it was possible for me) on November 10th 2005. It's been a little over 4 years since I got started. I can still remember my real estate agent picking me up from my 300 square foot apartment to go look at houses. Even back then I told her I was going to be a real estate tycoon very quickly.
I just believed it. I have been up and down so many times since I started this journey. I have had a lot of people laugh at me in the beginning. Nobody thought I could do it. I was just a machine shop worker with a learning disability. I had nobody to run this journey with. I basically didn't even have the support of any friends or family. So I just ran solo. But I got it done. Nobody laughs at me anymore. Nobody!
Determination will always beat genius! Maybe 1% of all the guru's out there do 100 deals in there lifetime. The best part is that the way I do deals is so duplicatable that anyone that follows my system can do what I have done in about the same amount of time. (Which I am proving with several of my students that have succeeded very quickly)
Don't ever let anyone get in your way. Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do it. Don't ever let anyone tell you your not good enough. And enjoy the journey because it is an absolute blast! Get it done!

I just joined the Success Academy and am working on the lessons. I'm ready to do something different. But as bad as it is, I have to leave for work now. I often keep going only because of your story and what you did to get there. I know you worked very hard and still do. It's great to always read a post from you and hear a little bit more about your story. I went and looked at multiple properties on Sun only to think about you when you went and looked at 20 in a day.
