Real Estate Investment Clubs

I highly recommend getting involved with a local Real Estate Investment Club when getting started in REI. I've read Dean's books, joined the coaching program, spent countless hours on this site and finally made up my mind to take action NOW. My job was eliminated several months ago, my credit is fair at best and I underwent open heart surgery 3 weeks ago. I'm recovering well and at 46 years old, God has given me a new beginning and it has been made very clear to me that this program is the way to go. This morning, I called the contact person for a REI club near my house to inquire about their meeting schedule. Anyway to make a long story short, I told him exactly what I was doing and he was extremely interested! In fact, I'm meeting him later this week and he told me something that just blew me away....He said he would partner with me until I can do my own deals and for me to bring him the deals and he would bring the money!!! AND...if he didn't want my deals, he would pass them along to any of his EIGHT other investors. After I picked my jaw up from the ground, I set up a time to meet with him. So now, I just have to find the deals!! My whole point here is nothing will happen until you take the first step!! All the tools and knowledge are right here and in Dean's books. Cash may be king, but knowledge is power!!
