The place I have under an assignment is about to expire after 3 months. I have just recently started to work with the owners with other options on the place. They were considering keeping it and finishing it. But this past week they had a set back and she called and would like to be extend the contract and go forth with it now.
It is under a contract for Purchase Agreement with option to assign. Do I need to re write the contract or can I put an amendment on it.

I have just drawn up extensions pertaining to that specific contract, have
all parties sign, & each keep & attach a copy to their original.
Is there any specific form to use, or just hand write one up to extend?
Thanks
Sandi
form, I usually just type it up with all of the information, including legal description, common address, extension term(30 days, etc.) Then sign, date & attach to original contract.
Thanks will do that!
You just type up the info on a blank sheet of paper and just attach it to the PA?
I can do all things . . .
Get Great Cash Flow Properties w/ 10-25% return possible! ! !
That is what I am going to do with all the info Jill & Gary mentioned. And of course all the signatures
I see you are fairly new to this, welcome to the site. I have been off for a couple months but hope to check it again everyday. A lot of people on here with very good help and advice.

We seldom get what we want, but we will always get what we expect.
Yes, just type it on a blank sheet of paper & add what we discussed earlier.
Doing good and had a short set back again health wise, and now have been working out again and even put in a huge vegetable and flower garden....felt good!!! Went a little crazy with buying flowers

But now I intend to put all I got back into the old building. Was able to come up with options and the owners were starting to think about keeping it, but he got hurt and is out of work, so they need to sell it. Have ads and fliers ready to go and letters to other businesses in that area. I am hoping the guy who owns the two properties next door, that are part of those buildings, will make an offer. He made the one place the town hall for weddings and proms. Have another inspection scheduled for mine as it has been through some nasty snows and extreme weather lately. Want to make sure all is still okay with it before I push further.
And for the record...was moving back to my farm, and while over there working on all the damage the last people did, the driveway fell into a sink hole!! Landlord filled it, three days later, I was over there and the hole got bigger, enough to take down a good part of my car. Decided not to move there. She was fine and understood, and apologized to me when she went inside and saw more crap the last people did to that place. I loved that place so much and cried. But also prayed about it and as more problems came out, I walked away. The place took lots of work, but they have it leased out now.
And have been to shelters looking at dogs. Picked out two big purebred labs, 4 & 5 yrs old. One was fixed. But another couple also was interested and I backed down. The home was perfect for them, and offerred more for the two of them.
Will talk to you per email soon. Meanwhile, have a property to push!!
Good to back hitting real estate again!!
If I write up the extension and allow for anymore, would we just have to sign it again with another date rather than re write an extension. I am going to put it up for 6months this time, they are fine with that. By that time I would have to do something with it for their sake. Thanks for the info everyone, really appreciate it. The owners are so nice willing to work with me.
