OfflineIn the real estate industry, agents are coming around and trying to get a handle on short sales. They are trying to bring uniformity and understanding to this trying and difficult situation that homeowners are facing. Agents are on the front lines in these situations and are facing a family that is in distress, and have come to the realization that keeping the home they love is no longer an option. This is a tough situation for anyone. An agent with a little compassion will go a long way.
There are special designations that agents are recieving after they have completed extensive course work. If you are interesed in completing short sales, I would recommend that you get on one of these agents contact lists as an investor. You can go to www.cdpe.com to find agents in your areas that specialize in distressed properties. This will be agents that do short sales and REO. Let them help bring you deals, they are on the front lines!
