How do I proceed in this situation?

How do I proceed in this situation?

I'm driving down the street and I see a distressed/vacant property. I take down the address and find the house on the county records. When I look at the tax billing address it names CORELOGIC w/ their branches location in Hoffman Estates, IL. I've seen this for different houses with various home owners. After checking around... it doesn't look like this home is listed on the MLS yet. How do I find/contact the homeowners? How do I proceed in this situation?

Hi Olu,
It sounds like the houses are set up in an llc,corporation, etc.What you would do in this situation is just write the letter to the address listed on the county record, seeing this is where all of their tax information is being sent.

Corelogic

is a tax escrow outsourcing company located in IL. Go back to the county records and look for the owner name/address; not the tax billing information.
