I got the book 2 months ago but had to deal with a devastating personal issue. Seems as if I have been holding my breath all this time, now I am ready to exhale, get focused and keep on living.
I've gotten a lot of great ideas and encouragement from this site. Just what I need!

10:30 am checked my budget/paid bills
1:00 pm bank / grocery
1:30 pm drove around neighborhood for properties
found (3)For sale, 1 FSBO and 3 distressed.
4:00 pm checked on DG

Followup on properties, call realtors and find owners.

I'm also celebrating my birthday this month! Right now I'm enjoying a long awaited vacation with my teenage twin daughters. I decided to visit my oldest daughter since I missed her so much. But since there's not much to do here, I've been checking the site daily and I can't wait to get home so I can get started on my investing again. I have ALL summer before I go back to work and I plan on pursuing Real Estate head on every single day until I make some deals!

I didn't post last week, but I still did my research for the properties i found.
I went online and looked up the owners and check tax records.
Visited the local Tax assessors office to get additional info, sometimes the website is a bit behind, found out they owed more than stated on website.
This distressed property, also had a mobile home on it, both with taxes due.
Trying to contact owner with a letter, house is in really bad shape.
One of the distressed property has about 3 acres, which I couldn't tell by just looking at it because Georgis is soooo woodsy. Basically he was selling the land moreso than the property, which will have to be demolished. NO GO!
Got name and address for vacant property, sending letter to owner in NYC.
Called realtor about other property, setup to visit with realtor.
