If the warehouse is bringing significant jobs (not a handful, but a lot), then it can have a positive effect. If it is close to a residential area where you will hear tractor trailers making a bunch of noise, loading/unloading and such, then it may be undesirable, especially if it becomes part of the view.
Just a quick note. If a warehouse is being built, you bought in the wrong neighborhood. Unless you also bought a commercial or light industrial property.
