i have been feeling really nervous about getting starting in the real estate but last night i read the chapter in dean's book about overcoming fear of failure and i am now getting excited about it. can't wait
thanks to everyone for all the advice and encouragement
I too have been experiencing various feelings at various times. Fear, anxiety, worry, did not show up right away, or very strong. Frustration has been there, studying a lot and laying groundwork, but not really getting to the point of the work that will actually lead to making any money. In the study of property on the websites has also come the thrill of possibilities. To have the good feelings win out over the negative feelings I believe we just have to keep working towards our goals of being successful in what we are doing.
That was one of my favorite chapters, too (because I started out as a big chicken. lol). Re-read it whenever you start to feel that way.
Pastor Greg, yes. Just keep focusing on the positive.
All the emotions we go through are part of the growth process. It's actually kind of exciting, because it means we're getting somewhere.
So keep on keepin' on, Dee. Congrats on starting your REI adventure!
God bless,
Rina
