This week’s Weekly Wisdom, in my opinion is one of the most important of any I’ve done in recent memory.

With the craziness going on in today’s world it can be so easy to be filled up with sadness, despair and even anger.

But my question to you is “will those emotions help make your life better?” The quick and resounding answer is NO!

So in this week’s Weekly Wisdom I want to walk you through what I think we as a nation truly need right now!

Thanks Dean for your heartfelt message. I still hold a grudge from my cousin regarding a land issue ownership in Cabo San Lucas and the run around he gave me when I wanted to sell 5 yrs ago, unfortunately I could never forgive for what he did to me, he really betrayed me, I have been working on a solution to that but I keep pushing it aside and do not want to deal with my eragant cousin, I need to get over that!!

Thanks for that message of love, Dean. I truly believe that the most important thing we can do is push forward and not let what has happened eat us alive. Is it sad? Yes, of course it is. But if we are going to start the healing process, we need to focus on whatever positives we can. Thanks again.

So well said! Dwelling on what happened can cause one to get stuck & unable to move forward to find a positive solution to serious problems.
Hate begets more hate, but LOVE always wins!

As an educator I tell students to respect one another, whether they agree or not. No bullying is allowed. Good behavior & caring is rewarded. I also tell students that there is only one race, it's called "human", and that we are all related somewhere on the human family tree.

It takes more energy to hate & hate creates bad results. LOVE gives, forgives, helps to heal and helps the world and people move forward in a positive way.
LOVE always wins!

It's just another example/version of the "spilled milk" example. You can either fixate on the why or how it happened or you can clean it up, get another glass of milk and enjoy that milk. An over simplification? Maybe, but the message seems to be the same to me.
Having friends who were Policemen, I understand a little of their mentality. Not everybody does. It's a terrible thing that is going on in this country towards them and as many have said over the years and recently, "Not all cops are bad people just as not all people are bad." But sometimes the line gets blurred and it's hard to see things clearly. You are right Dean, we need to focus and focus on fixing this issue and not figuring out why it has gotten so out of hand. WE, the people on this planet, are the answer to this problem. More of us just need to hear the call.
