In this week's Weekly Wisdom I want to discuss the importance of role models in your life... But not only that, I want to discuss with you how important BEING a role model is in our lives.
You see, it all starts with who we admire, look up to, aspire to be like... Who are those people in your life? Now when you know who those people are, you have to ask yourself "are those the right people!?"
Because if we choose the WRONG role models in life, we are destined to go down whatever path it is that person leads us down.
And another message I have this morning is this... So many people I know don't consider themselves a role model. But if you are a parent, a spouse, a boss, a brother, sister, uncle, aunt or ANYTHING, chances are you are a role model to someone! And sometimes we have to take a step back and ask ourselves are we being the type of role model we should be?
You've got to check out this week's message and let me help you narrow down your "role models" to the ones who can TRULY take your life to the next level and allow YOU to be the best role model you can be!
And also, as I mentioned in this week’s Weekly Wisdom, to get two of my best-selling books for free, go to http://www.deansfreebook.com.
role models - so important
Dean - this message really resonated with me. Everyone's impact has ripple effects because what you say or do is noticed by one or more, possibly integrated, and then they may pass a bit of it on. Good or not so much so. I keep my input fairly low because I don't want all that extraneous stuff bombarding me. I do my best to keep my output upbeat, and if that is difficult at times, at least aim for neutrality versus negativity. As always, your message is on target. Thanks for the reminder that we are role models all the time and to be aware of what we say and do. Younger ones are great at mimicking.
Role model
Thank you for that inspiring message. As a single mother, I thrive on being the role model for my children. Recently, I find it more challenging to maintain that role; as my sons are in their teens and the music they listen to is very disturbing. My Mission? is to keep reminding them of the positive things in life, and hope they listen and follow the right path.
Role Model
Hi Dean
That was great, you hit the nail on the head. You are absolutely right and I have a 15 yr old daughter that's watching me very closely as what I say/do/etc.
I have already stopped seeing some family members (cousins) that I find their behavior very intolerable and not appropriate.
God Bless

Role Models
Dean that was great and our association is really important to who ever we are who want a quality life and so many people dont give this a thought, ITS SO IMPORTANT, it really is.I got rid of a lot of things in my life that has made it better. My role model is Jesus Christ the GREATEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED ON EARTH, HE AMAZED EVERYONE HE CAME INTO CONTACT WITH, HE TOUCHED LIVES IN BIG WAYS. He LOVED PEOPLE AND WANTED THE VERY BEST FOR THEM.Any way you hit the nail on the head, its so important that we choose the right associates, we all deserve that, thats so awesome you were thinking of your children and I know you care about others as well. These may seem like little things and some may laugh at us but THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT, SO IMPORTANT.OUR MINDS PICKUP THINGS MOST PEOPLE DONT EVEN GIVE A THOUGHT TO, THERE IS A LOT OF TRASH OUT HERE AND WE NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM IT , WE WILL BE HEALTHIER , HAPPIER AND WISER FOR IT,many thanks, Jim

SORRY
Dean, I want to tell you since you brought the topic up. I shared a few videos for my GKids and was embarrassed by your foul language. And Winning State of Mind I could not finish because of your foul mouth and Tony's. I could not even digest so I did not share it. Although there was probably some good content in it... sorry.
