This week's Weekly Wisdom is part 2 of Dean's lesson on how resistance is negatively controlling your life without you even noticing it. And we just had to title it "Damn Resistance" because Dean says it on more than one occasion
And this week Dean urges us all to acknowledge what resistance is stopping us? What are we telling ourselves to distract us from the life we want, from the life we DESERVE?
This week Dean shares what resistance he had in his life and how he fought tooth and nail to power through it and come out on top.
This is a must watch video for anyone out there that feels like they are; as Dean says, sliding and not climbing...
Watch now!
And also, as Dean mentions in this week’s Weekly Wisdom, to get two of his New York Time best-selling books for free, go to http://www.deansfreebook.com.

Damn Good !!
I don't know how much education Dean has or not, but by the way the books are written he sure has some great natural writing talent. I know a great many English majors who can't construct two proper sentences together. I may be wrong, but I always suspected there must have been a ghost writer behind the scenes. The flow and message of the books are par excellence. The simply feat of writing this well for someone who considers himself not very well versed in writing is astonishing to say the least. Prodigy is the only other word that comes to mind.
DAMN GOOD TEACH
very good....

Continued Resistance
Dean, I am 73 years old. I too, thought I could not make it in college. I graduated from high school in 1959 and went into the U S Navy and became a professional drunk. I later quit drinking and smoking and tried to get my life together. I met with even more resistance against going to college. I had a wife and two children. My resistance became financial. I had a friend who paid off my bills and said, "Now what's your excuse." I graduated from Stetson University in 1979 at the age of 36. But, the greatest resistance I now have is that I can't get over the mindset that I was destined to be poor. Also, I think I'm too old to change now. Do you think there's any hope for someone like me?
Resistance. It's potent!
How right Dean. Many years ago, I was also caught up in the whirl wind of knowing that something would not work out for me and doing it anyway. Then once I failed at what I did, it actually gave me a sense of fulfillment. It is hard to explain but I was right that I was going to fail. How crazy is that. I know I am not the only one who has gone through this and may be still entangled in the negative setting which makes us resist moving forward and add unproductive actions. I eventually managed to escape this "STINKIN THINKIN" and now know that whatever I do will turn out.
Do not let resistance dominate and control your destinations.
Thanks again Dean!
Have a great weekend in Toronto and I will see you next week.
My best!
Dan
Awesome Weekly Dean!
I had to listen to this Weekly twice to let it sink in... what an awesome message!!!
Resistance is not a once in a lifetime thing; it keeps coming back over and over throughout our lives; so we must have the mindset tools to fight it and overcome it, so that we reach success in whatever our endeavor may be!
Thank you Dean for continuously motivating us and helping us crush the villain within us!!
Truly grateful always,
Valerie
Dang Dean
Are you psychic? You know how your parents would know or your grandma would know exactly what was wrong with you at the time?
That is how I feel here LOL, you hit the nail on the head exactly for me, prob for others too
I was exactly thinking about this, the resistance I have in my life & you spoke exactly what I needed to hear. Fear of being alone, of failure, of not being good enough.
What you said exactly, me too that is what I hve, going to document it & I do have a deal coming to me next week for 7k but I can do sooo much more. Just turned 50 last Sept so time to stop procrastinating. Love you Dean see you soon my friend.
Writing down the meaning
I will practice writing down the meanings of my resistance when they occur, I like this one strategy Dean. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Dean!
Great info as always!

Proof is in the Pudding
Dean,
Great message!!!! The proof is in the pudding and you are definitely the proof. Always stay positive and look for the silver linings in those clouds above.
Dean
Resistance is definitely a problem.I am inspired that you got through your life obstacles from grade school and succeeded in writing one of your many books.I definitely am learning so much from you. Thanks Dean.
Thanks Dean!
Awesome WW, your story with writing Totally Fulfilled aways inspires me to step up! My resistance is time and money. I know what i have to do and am heading in the right direction but its taking too long. This is where i remind myself that patience is a virtue. I'll be looking out for the villain this week and see if I can identify something new that i have been overlooking because I'm sure I can always do more to keep pushing forward!
Looking forward to seeing you next week at the EDGE!
Make it a great week!
Thom
YES! Decide Your Own Fate! Thanks Dean!
Invictus by William Ernest Henley
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
Biggest Fear/Obstacle
Something happened and my comment did not post. First let me say that life is good and people are fantastic. I am enjoying the challenge of real estate investing. I do not feel any fear but there is an obstacle that is slowing the process and that is lack of funds. I am seeking funding to acquire bank owned and other properties that are available as well as attempting to locate properties to wholesale. Deal I am surprised that you have not formed a group of lenders to fund at least the first two transactions for you new students. This of course would require stringent review by a select group but it would enable us to move more quickly. The training that you offer is top notch and the iPad Mini will be a valuable tool. (smile)
resistance
My solution for resistance is to take immediate action! Don't overthink it just DO IT. Had a fear of public speaking so...I immediately joined a ToastMasters group (and went on to become President!). People asked me, "Aren't you scared to speak in public?" and I said,"That is exactly why I do it. I will not let fear, or resistance, control my life. I will confront it head on before it has a chance to get a hold of me.
