Dean Graziosi Weekly Video Blog #42 - One Small Step at a Time

In this week's video blog Dean puts into perspective how even the smallest steps or tasks are part of the journey to your ultimate goals. Also, Dean offers some insight into his business model prompted by some feedback he received.

Maintain an inspired vision!

Just wanted to weigh in to share my excitement after nearly finishing Profit from Real Estate Right Now. I had purchased BARM several months ago, as well as the AFF/FAL. Minor investments for such a tremendous value. But still, I let myself coast by. I attended and recorded a couple of the conference calls... good information! But still I let myself lazily roll on, thinking about it here and there, but still not sure how I could make it happen. Dreaming of a richer, more liberated life, I knew getting leverage on myself was the surest way to get myself to take action. SO I enrolled in Dean's success academy, knowing that I couldn't afford NOT to make it happen. I have my marketing system set, flyers printed, toll free set up, and have even started talking to people about my intentions (including one realtor, and went to one REIA meeting to network). STEPS, BABY! Or should I say BABY STEPS. But it wasn't until cracking into PFRERN that it all started to come together. The key to success as far as I'm concerned is having a greater VISION and KEEPING IT BEFORE YOU. The fact we're trying to improve our situation puts us apart from maybe 95% of the people we know. Like Dean has always said, BE PROUD OF THAT, but not TOO PROUD!! We have nothing to prove to anyone but ourselves. You have to see the value in emulating the actions of people who have achieved what you want to achieve. Anyway, I am on the threshold and am gaining more leverage and momentum on myself. HAVE ENOUGH FAITH in YOURSELF (and definitely in DEAN) to say "okay, no more excuses!"
READ PFRERN and get the money to PAY FOR DEAN'S support materials, including AFF and the Success academy. You have to believe there are good people in the world, despite all the hardship. REMEMBER, it ALL COMES DOWN to your VISION, your BELIEF in what's possible, and FAITH in yourself that you can make it happen. I'm becoming more conscientious of how I spend my "spare" time, and taking SMALL STEPS to move toward my vision. I wake up and go to sleep every day with my vision in mind. No deals yet, but the path is CLEAR, thanks to DEAN!
If you're not getting there... GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!! Because you're the only real obstacle to your own success!
Peace and Blessings,
Dave

PS - I WILL post on my first deal, to be manifested SOON!

Little Steps

Dean Graziosi,

I just wanted to say How much I appreciated the Blog on small steps. It is true that you can't walk without making that first step. Joining your program was my first step, but listening to your blogs, and especially this one, is important. Your honesty and desire to make us obtain our desires is commendable. I think it is true that your competitors are asking you to charge. Probably because by you giving us what you do, they feel guilty that they don't have pure motives as you do. Thank you for caring about us so much. it is honorable that you sacrifice some of your profitablity so that you can help us as much as you do.

Thanks again.

Small Steps

Dean, Thanks for the encouragement, inspiration, and wisdom in starting our investment careers. My first small step was purchasing your book "Be a Real Estate Millionaire".

Now with your new three part series, I am starting to put together a list of buyers. My wife and I have been looking for properties everywhere we go. We have found a couple of REO's within a half mile of our appartment.

We hope to find some proporties that we can assign the contracts first to help pay off a couple of bills, them start looking for a home for us.

Thanks for taking the time to do the blogs, and providing the info. We will continue to take small steps forward.

Thanks again,
Carey

baby steps

There has been o house on the corner that has been foresale for many months. I finally stopped this morning on the way to work to obtain the # to contact the agent. I called on the agent on the way home from work. The home was taken off the market today do to the seller being able to rent it out. May be a lost opportunity but I got out of my comfort zone and made the call.

My Small Steps

Hi Dean,

Here is a list of my small steps.

1) Found a REI Club.
2) Became a member of dg.com.
3) Completed homework assignments from conference calls.
4) Contacted the academy to regain my focus.
5) Completed Marketing A Buyers List and Assignments program.
6) Read The Automatic Millionaire.
7) Found a real estate attorney.

My next step is to find a realtor. I just sent out 17 emails yesterday.

Thank you,
K.W.

I am beginning my destiny one step at a time

"You can't walk a mile without taking the first step". I just finished reading the first of two of your books "Be a Real Estate Millionaire" about a week ago and will be finishing your second "Profit From Real Estate Right Now" tomorrow. I am so intrigued and cannot wait to get started....I want to go 100 mph, but I need to make sure I understand my destination before I "jump" or take my first step. I have been interested in doing real estate for 30 yrs. and was always afraid to take that first step. I am now armed with the correct ammunition and eager to change my life to something I enjoy. I have been in construction as an Engineer for over 40 years and was laid off over a year ago. I have no job and I have been searching for a way to change my life to something I enjoy and have control of my destiny. Thank you for the kick in the butt....my new walk of life are small steps to gain momentum for a giant lasting change. Thank you and please keep motivating people.

Baby Steps

I know this is an old post but this is exactly what I do to proceed with things regarding real estate. I always want to be sure to cross my T's and dot my I's. It's better in the long run because you just do not know what you are getting in these days. So take heat to what Dean is saying because you will be better off. I might not make a deal right away and I will read further on the things I am trying to accomplish. Do not beat up yourself. Be patient and everything else will fall in place; meaning, when you step out of your comfort zone, handling deals will be a piece of cake. More money, more money!! Thank you Dean.

Our Plateau's

eaglescrestproperties's picture

Well here we are living outside of what was "normal" just a few weeks back. We read the book, went to a 1 hr seminar in another city, then a 3 day seminar in the same city as the first. Immediately recognizing that the potential is huge, we started creating our company. Refusing to short cut and determined to succeed we forged on. Business Cards were printed, a web site designed and posted by us, an 800 number put into place, signs ordered, Mortgage Broker letter sent as well as a Real Estate Agent letter. One each response and we're happy with the two who have reached out to us.

We're developing ghost ads to build a buyers list and trying to build a sellers base as well.

Our latest hurdle was the Prop Stream software package that was available at the Seminar. Its incredible information but overwhelming to say the least. So now we face the hurdle of learning the software as well as the best method to apply the new found knowledge and information. We're just needing a little extra push right now so any suggestions at all will be appreciated!

Plateaus of Success Procrastinate no more.

Hello Dean and all the D Gr's the things that I
have read so far from the users is very inspiring to me.
It provides the proof that there are caring loving
individuals that participate in this experience of life here, at no charge! O! MG! and the content blows me away by laying out the solutions for whatever ales me. I must say that i'm ecstatic and eager to get back here and learn these things that I've always
wanted to do, but I was just to lazy and complacent accepting mediocrity. I was one who talked a big game all the while knowing I was to fearful from all the can'ts I was brought up with, so I started things, but never followed through or implemented, so I would not have to experience failure and prove Professor Can't righteous.
So that makes this is my first plateau- overcoming
fear and de-rooting my glutes from the couch of mediocrity . I have already got some AB properties in mind ( looking for the previous owners), all the while thinking of ways to formulate a strategy or a plan that will satisfy the GOAL ( I'm just starting so I probably have this backwards and need to set the Goal), which will be another
plateau/ feat in itself.
Thanks to all that I have read so far and thanks in advance for all that I will read.
Here's to GOAL manifestation.( An action with results)
