If I ever get a buyer I need money for the deal. I need to get all my business money transfered to business cards and even though I have excellent credit I can not get a business card to save my behind. I have no business background. Just tell me what to do and how to do it and I will follow you through. I wrote to you a few months ago asking you for money and now it may be possible. Dean you are awesome. Fake it till you make it thats what were doing and will keep doing till it works. What else can you do. If you don't your a failure and I am not a failure.

You are such a Great Dad! It's great to see you and your family. Kids grow so fast you have to keep your eyes on them all the time. Just before our eyes the are in school, then in high school - going to the prom and off to college. And we wonder were the time went. This was a great blog looking forward to any info you have about private money and investment deals.
Have A Happy Holiday & New Year.

Your kids are so adorable!
Hey Dean...thanks so much for all your help. I know eventually I'll be able to get out there and actually do it. When you said 'Fake it till you make it' That really hit home. I know thats what I'll have to do since I'm so green. Every time I feel I might be ready, I realize another obstacle...like my old car making me like so unprofessional. But each obstacle has it's own solution. I figured out that if I wanted to show a property to someone or meet someone to talk about buying their house, my boss would more than likely let me borrow his SUV. Until I make my first deal and get a better looking vehicle I'll just take it one step at a time.
I have a question
I'm going to start putting out the flyers and ads really soon and I'm really getting nervous about it because I've never done it. My problem that I'm facing now is not feeling confident about all the laws concerning buying and selling and all the financial gargon that I don't know and understand. Can you really just do the transactions with the paperwork you make available to us? or are there contracts and things I need to know about?
Finding a Realtor / Greg
I joined a local REI club. This particular club does not have membership dues. I took advantage of a networking event that was doing a Food Drive for Thanksgiving. With my business cards in hand, note book and my requirements for a Realtor, I mixed and mingled. I found the perfect Realtor, he is also an investor, bilingual and understands our world and prefers the investors side of real estate! I was very specific with my expectations from him, and explained how this would be beneficial for all. The home owner, for him the Realtor and for me the investor. We can contact each other any time and we talk often. PS> I am still learning, but my knowledge, the way I present myself and my credo, "Service with Integrity" Has been a large factor in my progress as a real estate investor. Hope this helps.

I love your kids! I'm a grandpa myself. I'm trying to engage and remember to post. so tonight i stopped my truck just to check in and i picked this blog to comment on because of the kids!!! :> I agree with what you said. I've been told it's called "posture". If you sound whiney, Needy, or unsure.... (other people grew up on planet earth also they can see that in your body language and other places like choice of words) so guess what... your'e right! I just want to drop a line and say thanks for your support and Hope that you and yours will have a GREAT THANKSGIVING!!! Faith and Worry both require Faith the difference is choice of subject matter!
